Our bugpin magnum shaders are made from smaller diameter pins(.30), therefor generating a narrower flat distance. For example, a bugpin 7 magnum will fit cosy in a 5 magnum tube, whereas a 9 magnum shader will fit comfortably in most 7 magnum tubes. This helps you create softer shading by minimizing the dot distance of the the pigment.
