Coils and Capacitors

In 1824 the first electromagnetic coil was invented by William Sturgeon, made with a varnished piece of iron and bare copper wire, it could hold nearly twenty times its own weight in magnetic pull. Since then the electromagnetic coil has gone through many changes and is used in a number of day to day operations, one of which being the tattoo machine. All our coils are hand wound in house, from the perfectly machined cores and the overwhelmingly strong phenolic end caps, to the highest quality magnet wire money can buy, our coils are truly the heartbeat of a tattoo machine that thumps above the rest.
